Model 2004PSNF = 2” with suction nozzle = FREE SHIPPING Due to the impressive power of this new engine and pump, it can be used to power a 4 inch submersible or a 2 1/2 inch gold dredge. For extremely shallow water conditions, a suction nozzle is recommended. The power jet is ideal for most deep water conditions and provides the most suction power. The model 2004 backpack dredge comes equipped with a power jet or optional suction nozzle. Keene also provides an aluminum frame with grey marlex pontoons. The sluice box has been engineered for fine gold recovery and easy clean up. The Honda engine doubles the power of the previous models and is much quieter and smoother, produces an unbelievable 100 gallons per minute, and up to 160 feet of head pressure. Some areas also do not allow digging above the high water mark for the stream you are on.The Keene backpack dredges are equipped with a lightweight BUT heavy-duty 2.5hp Honda 4 cycle engine. very portable device.īe aware most places that allow highbankers have limits such as building a small settling pond. You can also use it as a dredge wether on the stand or inflatable floats. No classifying needed just shovel in to the hopper and clean the tailings at each end every now and then. Have you considered the 2" highbanker combo? I have one and I just love the highbanker. The power jet is more efficient and requires less hoses but the venturi(suction) nozzle allows you to work much shallower and you can raise the nozzle out of the water without losing water flow and suction witch usually results with losing gold out of the box. This can occur anytime you completly stop and start water flow on these smaller sluice boxes. Especially without a hookah setup needed on most streams. I would have to agree with previous posters 2" dredge doesnt move enough material to be worth the cost.
